Baytown Boom ABA Team Management Participate in Local Golf Tournament
The Baytown Boom, the newest expansion team in the ABA, participated in the fundraising golf tournament event for Judge Joe Stephens. Judge Joe Stephens is justice of the peace in precinct one position one in Texas
GOLFANDHOOPS was a hole sponsor supporting the event and entered a 3 man team.
Judge Joe Stephens is a product of the north side of Houston Texas, and play basketball for the Houston Rockets in the NBA. Since retiring from the NBA, he started a successful real estate company, on his own Farmers insurance Franchise, before becoming justice of the peace
Baytown boom owner Orien Green and boom general manager Cyril White attended the tournament, supporting the justice of the peace.. Judge Stevens is an avid supporter of sports, And will serve as a Development advisor for the Baytown BoomABA team
"I'm glad to get out and connect with Joe Stephens, and the Baytown Boom will continue to support him, "said Baytown Boom team owner OrienGreene. "Golf is a great way to connect with the community, and we will continue to be involved in as many ways as we can"
TGBTG investor NATE BARRS Was a part of the three-man team, and we took alternate shots to make up for a missing fourth. It was more of a day to introduce OrienGreene to the game of golf as it was his first time out on the course.
With the five mulligans apiece that Nate and I purchased, we were able to shoot a 54, and this was including letting OG take some shots from the fairway with 3 woods To “dribble” the ball on to the green.
It’s always good to play a new course, and this was Stonebridge country club in Crosby Texas. My first time to be there, and when you leave with the score like 54 in a scramble tournament You know it will be a fond memory.
